Farewells

Today was the last day of our EE clinics in Pango, and they ended with a bang! We ran a short clinic, and then had a closing ceremony where many testimonies and thank you's were shared. Then the church surprised us by showering us with an over-abundance of island gifts, including sarongs, leis, stone necklaces, scarves, hawaiian shirts for the guys, and so on. It was unbelievable! It was so hard saying goodbye to the wonderful Nevan people that we have grown to love over the past few days. It has been such a joy to get to know them and serve along side them.
Later that day, our wonderful Aussie companions from the Figtree church in Australia headed off. We were so sad to see them go. They were all such amazing youth, and such amazing examples of Godly men and women, they were a pleasure to work with. We will miss them all so much, and although we were only with them for a week, they became like family to us.
The night ended with trinket shopping and dinner on the town, at an amazing restaurant with a beautiful ocean view! The water was so clear that you could see schools of fish swimming in the water below. It was a spectacular sight!

It seems as though our days in Vanuatu have almost drawn to a close! Which is crazy, we still feel like it is completely surreal that we are here in the first place! It has been an amazing (and rainy!) trip. There have been so many amazing testimonies, people, and God-ordained appointments. It has been amazing to be a part of, I look forward to seeing God move in even more new and exciting ways in the upcoming weeks!

  1. Thanks girls. We LOVE reading the blogs. It is a highlight of our family - being able to share how God is working there and in your lives is so inspiring and encouraging to us - and challenges us too.
God where will you have us be in your plan in the future ...
God bless you all - with much love and prayers from Nathan's family back home. xoxo
1 Corinthians 1:18 The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.
We all need to be messengers of this precious free gift to this stubburn and secular world ...
